You have pictured this juvenile heron so well, and especially the bright shiny eye is well captured. The bird is also standing out well from the softened background.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is spot on.
The photo is also nicely cropped, and the heron has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Nieves, and with an excellent DOF.

Nice shot of this hero with a clear precise view,i guess this was a long lens[not that it matters] sometimes you need that in order not to disturb the subject,good dof in this one...Brian

This one makes me think of Sange , she posted several types of herons . If memory serves me correctly , this is a little green heron .
It's a perfect placement within the frame and the pose offers a nice side profile view.
Well focused, nice clear image with good exposure.
I like that stern expression . I appreciate the clear eye and bill . We have great blue herons here however I have not been fortunate to get the opportunity to photograph them yet.
Well composed allowing a good sense of the habitat . Well presented! .

Gosh your herons are very different from ours in the UK! A great shot with his beady eye watching your every move!
He's well positioned within the frame, with space for him to move in to. The narrow dof gives an excellent non-intrusive background while still showing that it's water. Good detail and lovely natural colours.
