A good looking image posted here into the competition, together with fascinating notes too! Your fine and classical composition gives us an enjoyable view of those pretty swans and their location. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

A very nice nature an outdoor photo posted to here for the contest. I love how much depth you've been able to capture in the beautiful natural colors are very pleasing. Your handling of the light has been done in an excellent manner and the highlight on the closest swan is really pretty. I especially like the cloudy blue skyand the tree line that defines the edge of the frame. Well composed. Great entry to the contest, best of luck to you!

A great photograph capturing this many swans. They are a beautiful bird, can be a little temperamental, but majestic in many ways. Lakeland Florida is known for it's Swans also. Queen Elizabeth sent a mating pair to Lakeland in the 1930's to replenish their extinct stock. Recently though the city has been relocating them elsewhere, which has greatly diminished their visibility, many of which were black swans.

Oh I do love black swans and although there are a few in Mistley, they evidently belong to a different gang.
Thank you very much for your review.

Great shot Charlotte of an endless bevy of Swans. If I saw this scene without my camera I would be very mad at myself. If I saw this scene with my camera I would be so excited that my heart would be really pumping. Love everything about it. Well done and good luck in the contest :-)

A beautiful picture of the numerous Mute Swans lining the Misterley estuary in Essex along with a few Mallard ducks the Cob Swan rising up & flapping his wings with the sunlight glowing through his flight feathers catching my eyes.
The rain clouds overhead are also eye-catching.
Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp y.

Yes to much political correction in the uk,stupid council and there are alot like them over here, this swan in front does make this otherwise think it needed a bit more in this, but still okay ...brian
p.s. there was a council that barred a group of pensioners who st round in a group during the pandemic outside then decided to carry on afterwards once a week for company so the council decided to ban them in case one of them fell over, how stupid is that.

Oh? I don't watch it, so wouldn't know, what are they warning you about?
Have you noticed too how often with films now you get a warning of people smoking! It's obviously now on a par with sex, violence, drug abuse and incest!!! Lol

yes nearly everything comes with a warning stupid treating us like children

It looks like paradise! I love the scene per se. Those swarming swans, the dramatic sky the ocean and its tiny splashes are refreshing elements of your composition. Superb angle and composition. Informative artist's notes. Glad you still have these swans.
