I am such an ignoramus when it comes time to flowers so I am glad you pointed out the structure of the plant. Otherwise I would have thought the light colored "leaves" would have been part of the flowers. Your processing by darkening the background really helps the plant stand out. Beautiful Anne!

Annie, These Bougainvillea are so beautiful. They are like Poinsettias where the top leaves gives color to the plant and the flowers are small. This is a very nice presentation and your kind explanation will help many to understand. Ray

Such a dainty flower and you have really showcased this bougainvillea in a magnified version showing its tiny white stamens prominently. The presentation is beautiful with darkened negative space all around and those leaves really framed the white blossoms. Great focus, angle, lighting and framing. A lovely scene, Annie.

When I first opened this I thought the large white leaves were petals , I must say that this is an intriguing plant with the bracts in an off white and the tiny and delicate flowers in the white . Well photographed with good focus, this image is clear and your exposure is perfect allowing the natural tones. The black background works well to emphasize this lovely and interesting plant.
