Rose is a beautiful flower,
Having a lot of fragrance
Growing among the deadly thorns,
It has never lost its beauty.
Being under the care of sun,
Getting the power from the sun,
It never fades but glows brightly.
Becoming itself a good present to the sweet-heart.
Keeping the negative energy away,
Bringing a positive attitude towards us,
What else do we need from it?
It just offers a good love to us.
Offering rose at the feet of God,
Rose itself feels proud of performing,
Its duty for the sake of Lord,
Taking the last breath from this world
Gives it a nice farewell.

A very attractive piece Maureen. The droplets of water add so much interest and intrigue to the work. The rule of 3rds (having 3 roses instead of two) also promotes interest. The dark background that you used creates a nice contract to the subject at hand. The introduction of green in the leaf at the bottom offers stability and balance to the frame. Very Pretty!

So lovely and this is a pretty unique and distinct way of showing the rain drops. I love the clarity of the layers of the petals and the realistic colors that you have choose. The dark background made your roses stand out in an excellent manner because of the striking and contrasting contrast. The vertical frame is appropriate.
