What a cool mixed media post. I love so much about this piece. The contrast with the dark clouds and light on the traps is excellent. The twisted texture of the green ropes adds a lot of interest tot he shot.

The HDR makes the shot for me. Very well done!

Charlotte,
It deserves a six but I've run out of Sixes. A very beautiful & atmospheric picture of the
Lobster Pots & the green ropes with the cloudy sky reflected on the glistening surface of the bay. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view of the ropes and pots on that boat. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

A very good entry into the contest. A lovely pile of green ropes and the lobster pots behind them. The dark sky and water add to the interest of tis photograph; good luck in the contest.

I really this scene especially that these are lobster pots. I can just imagine the hardworking fishermen in the middle of the sea collecting lobster which is my favorite sea food. The green rope is just a pleasant sight and is a nice entry to this Color Green contest. The textures and colors are prominent and well defined. The presentation is superb also showing the overcast sky and serene bluish ocean in the background. Your artist's notes describes that nature reserve filled with wildlife like a paradise. I wonder if you happened to reach that place called Farne Island. Overall, this scene is a stellar! Wish you the best!

I love this one and the green rope makes it an excellent entry for this contest ! I think the HDR Has produced a painterly like image to show the ropes and lobster pots on the left and the sea out on the right. You have brought out such amazing detail ! The focus is spot on the image is sharp and clear, exposure is perfect , the colors are beautiful together and they appear true and natural,
Well composed and presented! This will be difficult to beat! Very best wishes to you !

Beautiful!!! Your photo is not only creative in blending three photos together but the placement and composition are outstanding! The contrast of the colors is well done and the depth is arresting, it feels like you can see for miles! The sharp focus through out is excellent. Congratulations on such a well done photo and best wishes for the contest!!

going to give this six[even though the horizon is slightly leaning] because its the sort of shot i would have taken [although not so good] fishing baskets are good subjects to take photos of and the sky is a bonus...Brian

OMG you're so right Brian! I feel gutted to be caught out on that totally novice mistake! Thank you for highlighting it - it should be okay now (hopefully)
But oi you! You said you'd give it a six and gave it four and half! :(
