A very interesting post in black and white. The lack of color indicates and exacerbates the loneliness of the road. The clouds seem to follow the direction of the road. The focus and clarity are excellent. Good luck in the contest.

That sky is pretty dramatic and place looks pretty isolated and remote. I like the snow-capped mountain and the snowy foreground. Great angle, focus, and lighting. Great conversion to black and white. A dramatic scene and great entry for this Landscape Contest.

Excellent photograph! Just beautiful. I believe the choice of black-and-white give this picture of very moody and classic look. The linear perspective gives it a three-dimensional depth. I love this picture. Great work good luck with the contest.

This is such a dynamic scene. And the black and white presentation homes in on the drama of the image.
Initial Reaction: "Powerful"
I like the way your angle of the shot allows symmetry between the road and the cloud. It's as though the cloud is hovering over and racing down the road to the hills on the horizon.
Technically: This image is skillfully captured with nice control of both lights and darks. As a black and white, it certainly meets the criteria of a stellar black and white, whereas multiple tones of gray are evident. The image has nice DOF and allows sharp clarity and detail throughout the image.

The title is perfect as this has a feeling of loneliness as I view.its such a quiet scene .
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct. Nice tonal range in the B&W. The sky brings this scene to life , there is a sense of motion in the clouds.
