This is a truly lovely looking bloom, and I especially like the delicate pastel colors. I also like how well you have used high lights bringing out the different shades in the flower,

I is done paying such a good attention to details. The square format is perfect and the water lily is well placed within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thanks for the nice review once again. There is something about this painting that leaves me feeling it is not me best attempt. I finally just accepted it as is and posted.

Very pretty! I love all the fine details that you have given to this Lilly, your usage of shading and light is excellent. The gradient purple background is a nice contrast to the leaves and helps bring definition to the petals of the flower. The stamens are beautiful!
