Always surprised by the color of your Spoonbills ours are either white or cream.
Love the pose you captured as it preens with the unusual shaped bill.
Your exposure of the white is good and the focus is sharp.

One of my favorite subject is this Spoonbill bird . I love its colors standing out against the plain and undistracted background. I like how you have showcased its spoon-shaped beak and the vibrant pinkish plumage and long legs. Excellent focus, angle, and lighting. Point of improvement is to add more negative space from the top, but overall this is already a lovely scene and is a pleasure to view.

A very beautiful visual presented here of this amazing bird as is grooming its feathers. Composition shades tones and overall presentation is very well done. Thank you for sharing

Great shot Michele of this Roseate Spoonbill on a branch. Colour and exposure are good. A slight blurr at top of head gives a sense of movement. Good focus, texture and clarity. Well done and thanks for sharing :-)

The afternoon shadows
Have warped
Into something more beastly,
More hungry.
Black and mangy fur,
Bristles made of shadow and bad intentions â€"
And glistening teeth filling dripping, wet jaws.
Eyes, eyes, wait for one of the flock to stray
From the sunny patches.

Ding-a-ling...
Dinner is served!

Flee! Run! Escape!

Fly back to the shepherd by any means, oh dandelion puffs â€"
Weak and brief of life.
Guard yourselves from the angry heat and dark breezes â€"
The fields stretch far.
The pastures extend wide.
The weeds of countless types, shapes, colors, forms...
But only the fleeting dandelion puffs with their eyes on the Sun
Will endure â€" even when blown and scattered,
A thousand seeds to the wind,

What an incredible photo op! I would love to see this bird in person!
It appears to be a preening pose .
I like that it is up on the thick branch allowing a good look at its large feet. The pink to red feathers are beautiful.
Well focused, this image is clear , exposure is good, the only thing that would improve this is if you had left a bit more room at top frame.
Still it's an interesting image abd I'm glad you shared it!
Well presented!

Another good looking nature image presented here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view of that lovely bird. Possible over-exposure at the top? Well taken!
