This photo took me back to my childhood where my family had a shack that was near a grander shack with outhouses for guests. Many good memories. Good natural colours with very good exposure. Good focus, texture and clarity. Well done and good luck in the contest :-)

Oh, this is clever, interesting and fun. I love the pelican in the forefront that truly initiates the story of the scene. Sitting there so peacefully and acting as a host to invite us into the scene. I love the colors that are not overly bright or saturated. Loads of compositional elements add to the interest of the shot (the varying textures and repeating shapes in the rocks, as well as the architecture in the back). Well done - and best of luck in the contest.

Such an amazing scene especially the stony bank with a resting seagull. I also like those houses overlooking the this river and the rocky front. Great angle, focus, lighting and composition. A refreshing scene and a stellar entry for this contest.

This is a great shot obviously in New England. The style of the houses on the far banks of the waterway are a giveaway, the rocky bank in the foreground is very clear and beautifully focused along with the nesting seagull. Good luck in the contest.
