I love the alert stance of this beautiful buck , we can see that he is in process of shedding out his coat to prepare for winter.
He is well placed within the frame . Well focused, nice , clear image with correct exposure. Colors and tones appear natural.

Nice backyard scene with this buck shedding its reddish Summer coat. This is also a nice entry to the Letter B Contest. Great angle, focus, lighting and framing placement. I'm pretty surprised that you did not spooked him and ran away. This buck gazed at you instead. Colors are natural and you've really showcased his expressive eyes. Informative artist's notes. Now I know that they changed colors come Winter time. A pleasant scene and is a pleasure to view.

thanks for the great review; they shed their shorter, reddish summer coats in exchange for the darker, longer fur winter coats, they look really ratty in the spring when they shed !

This is a lovely capture of a buck at night, new antlers blooming. Good focus and clarity, showing his coat in great detail. Taking this at night is a positive in accenting the buck in the wild.
