Wow, that glow filter really adds interest and appeal to the shot.

You have captured "Chance" looking very relaxed and peaceful. Those developing spikes are just too darn cute! The image is tack sharp with wide DOF to offer a clear appreciation of the entire subject. Framed just right, this is a lovely image of a young buck

I think I would love to have a backyard with some young buck like Chance. He looks so comfortable and unaffected by your presence. You've really shown his facial features and expressive eye. Excellent lighting, angle, focus, and framing. The colors are natural and the details are well defined. I will be excited to see Chance on a daily basis. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much, i do have other photos of Chance, but like many of the yearling bucks we have, they tend to disappear during rut, I can only hope they are looking for their own territory or may return later on.

He appears to be quite comfortable as he relaxes on the grass behind your house.
He is a beautiful yearling buck and I love the name you gave him .
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct , colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!

Many thanks, Pat, he trusts me enough to take apple slices from me (usually nipping my fingers in the process-lol), but he has wandered off during rut, like so many of the other yearling bucks we’ve had around over the years. Just hope he makes it thru hunting season and finds his own territory, or maybe comes back.

What a handsome young buck and your capture as he is resting is lovely.
The colors appear natural and your focus on eye of buck is sharp.
Well composed and presented.

Chance looks so relaxed as he lies in the tall grasses with leaves in the background. You have good clarity and colors that enhance his antlers and coat. I envy how close you were able to approach him

Many thanks; he’s known me since he was a fawn, so is very used to me.

This is a lovely photograph of a young buck taking a rest. The focus and clarity are great and the pose in the natural setting is lovely. Lovely detail shown here. You are so lucky to have this beautiful example of nature in your backyard.
