I like that you captured this close up of the male peacock to allow such a good look at its head and face and of course the fancy peacock crown!
Well focused, this image is clear and exposure is well managed. The colors and tones appear natural.
Well defined feathers, beak and nice clear eye!
The peacock stands out well from the brown background .
The only thing that would have improved this would be if there was more room on the left.
Still this is an awesome entry for this contest! Best wishes to you!

Thanks Pat, yes I agree with the space on left unfortunately he jumped up onto the platform and there was a piece of wood on the left side which didn't add a lot to image

Such a sharp image of this peacock portrait. I love how you have captured that bulky eye and its expression. Excellent lighting, focus, and angle. The choice of vertical frame fits well. I only with that the framing placement has more negative space from the left hand side where the peacock is facing. Overall, the sharpness of this capture is superb.

Oh, maybe that piece of wood can be cloned. Then you have some more space. Just a thought. This is really a SHARP image.
