LeeAnn, So you had a work out capturing this beauty, You have done a fine job so it was worth it. Photography isn't as easy as some think. I am glad that this Monarch settled down for his 5 minutes of fame. Very nice presentation. Ray

What a wonderful capture, especially for late November! It's like he's posing for you! I like all the natural colors and how well you have framed him in showing all of the well focus details. A really pretty nature shot, thank you for sharing!

A cute and colorful scene of this butterfly visiting the dandelion. I love how its orange wings created a striking contrast with the bright yellow blossom as well as the dark green grass. Great angle, lighting, and focus. This scene makes my heart warm and makes me longed for life to come back once again in the garden.

thank you, makes me wish for Spring!

Yeah, it felt like the migration patterns were off this year. I still had hummingbirds flying around in September. Weird!
This is a great shot, with nice clarity, detail and sharpness on both the butterfly as well as the flower. You have framed it perfectly - the colors of spring in November - again, Weird but very welcomed.

I feel we are going to have a mild winter this year as it only started getting cold this past week in Wisconsin. This is a perfect sign of a mild winter. The details, focus, framing of scene and colors are well represented. Overall a great presentation! Thanks for sharing.

Many thanks! Hope you are right, our winters here in New York State have been mild the last two winters; this year we have had 6 inches of snow overnight, two days later the temps are in the upper 40’s, rain and the snow is gone.

A nice initial presentation with color and good positioning in the frame. However, I feel the focus is a little soft. The colors are clear and the background is complimentary.
