You definitely get some glorious sunset shots, Pat, and this one is no exception! The whole scene is magical with the golden light, dramatic gray clouds and beautiful reflection. Very well composed and presented!

Pat...Absolutely brilliant clouds and sunset behind the mountains. Beautiful clear reflection in the glassy waters. Wonderfully composed. The only thing I would say is the horizon is not quite straight.

Hi Pat, so glad there was a pull off on the highway so you could stop and capture this shot! The view is beautiful! Love the slightly angular shot across the water. Love the rim of the clouds bursting with light! I love the snowcaped mountains and the reflection in the water. The whole scene is a joy to behold with great lighting and focus. I'd definitely stop to capture this view. Very nicely done! :o) Nancy

This sunset is almost out of the world and with the most fantastic colors. I especially like how well you have captured the reflections from in the mirror like water and the fantastic light.
The photo is of course also sharp with such clear and well defined details in every part of the photo, and the exposure is spot on.
The slight crop has worked well, and it is such a fine flow and balance in the composition. A truly beautiful and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

This is another piece that I would like to paint. It's actually better than the last one I was thinking about creating on canvas.
The snow mountains and the orange and yellow in the sky are just so gorgeous. The reflections with the fog rolling and gives it such a storytelling effect. It causes my mind to imagine many Scenarios that could be going on in the atmosphere. I can feel the Angels that work for some reason! I just can. Thank You again for sharing your beautiful photography with us! The prettiest scenery that surrounds you makes up for the cold Weather! Right?
