A very interesting and creative visual presented here of this green lizard. I'm not sure I'd want to come upon him by accident. Conversation shades, colours and background. I like him in a very pleasing way. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Hi Brian, this guy definitely would have been a good entry for the green contest. I think the black background shoes him off nicely. Your focus and lighting really show off his scales well with great detail. Love the angular shot and the way he fills the frame. Definitely fits well in the Nature contest! Good Luck! :o) Nancy

Amazing focus, Brian. I like how your dark background really made your green lizard to stand out in an excellent way. Clarity of textures and expression. I like the various shades of green and its wrinkles are also very prominent. Great shot and I wish you the best in this contest.

God must have been really tired and sleepy when trying to create this guy. I really dont know how to describe his looks! You have shot him well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort! Good luck!

This is a great portrait of a particularly ugly lizard. Focus and clarity are great and the dark background serves to show him off well. Good luck.

Oh my goodness, Brian, you have captured an ugly little fella, here! Great exposure and balance. The dark background is perfect for his portrait. He makes me think of The Grinch. It appears it is looking at you, ready to pounce.Oh My.

thanks Jewell for the good comments[never thought of the grinch though] funny i actually took some photos of a guy dressed up as the grinch at an event last year

The only reason I thought of the Grinch was probably because of the time of year we are in. He really doesn’t look like the Grinch, but I have a great imagination. So there we have it. Haha

The lizard is well laced in the frame and I like this up close look your image allows.
Well captured with good focus, this image is clear and exposure is correct , the lizard of course stands out beautifully from the black background and you have brought out such well defined detail to show its texture.
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!
