I haven't seen one of this since I was a kid (Before you ask, I'm 28 years of age. But I remember seeing one these when I was like 5 or 6 years old) Excellent work in capturing this antique. Great work, thank you for sharing!

Lol... you're still a kid to this old lady, I remember when these things played real 45s 🤣 but thank you for your sweet reminiscing and kind comments ✌️

A very interesting and unique gradual presented here of this jukebox. I wonder what music you would choose. I like how you've presented it within the frame and allow the darkness to bring it forward. Really lovely to view. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks Maureen, glad you enjoyed the flashback, I'm pretty sure I chose a few songs by ZZ Top that night 😁

OMG! You took me back to the 60s when I used to swing to the rock n roll music and the blues! A very apt entry. You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good luck!

Thank you Sesha, glad my vision helped you remember something fun

Wow, that's a beauty and it really plays CDs ? Exposure and sharpness are good but I would suggest framing it a bit tighter to lose the stuff around the jukebox which is distracting.

Thank you, yes this nostalgic spin Dr still plays and has a great selection and still has great sound. As for trimming, the extra is intentional. I prefer to see things in their natural surroundings. I believe the textures of the flooring and lighting coming from under the saloon style kitchen door are all just as important to convey the mood of the piece. Art is subjective. Thank you for your review.

This brings back memories, have not seen one of these for years, probarly most are in museums now, thanks Lisa for showing this, one thing i would suggest is to trim a tad of the surroundings in this [just to make the focus more on the jukebox] guess its being used somewhere .....Brian

Thank you Brian for your review. I know that a lot of photographers do trim away much of the background or even erase it to focus on the subject but I don't because I prefer to see things in their natural surroundings. I believe the textures of the flooring and lighting coming from under the saloon style kitchen door are all just as important to convey the mood of the piece. Thank you though, I always appreciate suggestions, they are helpful.

Very cool..I got my quarter! Lol. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this classic jukebox is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Thanks so much, this beauty was just hanging out in the corner looking lonely with no one admiring her tenure. She deserved to be the center of attention while she played her melancholy tunes.
