The metallic colors make me think of Christian icons. The use of gold is indicative of sunlight. The intricate details of the figure add both interest and movement to the composition as it compels the eye to view each and every aspect of the painting no matter where the eye begins its journey. Well done.

Your work is totally different from what we usually see on this site, and I just love all the intricate details. I also like a lot the limited color pallet and the great shapes and lines.
It is easy to see that this is done paying a very good attention to details and I really like the white outlining of white in the guardian's robe.
The format and framing is perfect, and it such a fine flow and balance in the composition. Indeed a beautiful and well done piece of art Joanna, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Hi Joanna, Love the long robe of your guardian. The curves and intricate design are beautiful. The colors have a nice warmth so I can picture the Guardian just lost in the sweet sounds surrounding him. The whole design is so delicate and elegant! Very nicely done and a joy to view! :o) Helvi
