This is very impressive creating in Photoshop and not a version of AI.
I wish I had a six for your.
I have used PS for 15 or more years and have used brushes of different types. I would however have no idea on how you creating this very cool piece. Well done!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I did traditional art for many years but I am so fascinated with the digital art world. Lots of layers and use of gradients and brushes. There are limitless possibilities and yet I can still created my own art with it unique to me and my style.

Great image here Lynn of motherly love. We get Humpback whales in the great Australian Bite come each year to have and nurse their calves. Quite a spectacular thing to see. Good colours and clarity. I like how you put surface water in frame. Well done and good luck in the contest :-)

This is a lovely depiction of a mother whale and calf swimming in the ocean. A great digital art entry; a six stars I would have awarded if it was an actual photograph.

Hi Lynn, Love the intensity of blue in this! I feel like those Humpback whales are going to swim right out of your image. AS usual, your image has lovely detail and looks so lifelike.
Love you placement in the frame and how you show the underside if the surface water. Beautiful work and an impressive piece for the contest! Good Luck! :o) Nancy

Such a tender scene of this Mother Whale and her Little One. I love the blue ocean with this precious bonding moment. I think if there is a point of improvement is just to increase negative space on the right hand side, just to create more space for them to swim. A stellar entry, Lynn.

Lynn, You have captured one of the most endearing subjects a mother and her calf in the great expanse of the ocean. You have done a fine job putting this together. Ray

Lynn you do great work. There is a close margin in those who compete. I think the top five would be acceptable and you are there. Don't let this place get to you. Being able to post your work and share it with others is a reward. People don't know what they are looking at some of the time. The people who rate you don't know how difficult what you do is. It is the same for me as it is for you and those people are the ones who rate you So don't place too much emphasis on what happens, there is a margin of error here. i hope that settles you a bit. Ray

Great digital artwork with these dolphins swimming in the endless waters of the ocean. I can wait to see them in the real life again. Thank you for sharing this art in the meantime.

Lynn Marie, first I want to thank you for including in your notes the fact AI was not used. I'm finding it very difficult to "Review" images where AI is potentially used. Again, Thank you.
This is a wonderful image of the whales. There is certainly a story to be told as well as the fascination stirred as the viewer takes in the details, textures and size of these huge sea mammals. A very fitting image for the contest - Best of Luck.

A very sweet and endearing visual presented here of this beautiful whale and her young one. Composition limited colours and overall presentation is very well done. Thank you for sharing.
