nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bee working the flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

I love this close up of your cactus flower! The colours are beautiful and the light and shade makes us almost be able to smell the flower. The little bee inside the flower attracts our attention

This an interesting entry into the contest. The stamens are obviously the main attraction to this photo, but it looks like you caught a photo of a bee collecting pollen adding great interest.;. Good luck in the contest.

I like how well you have focused, this is nearly a macro photo and presentation and that makes it interesting. I like how you've handled the white balance and the lighting along with the deep shadows. All feels well balanced. The full frame is pleasing. A great entry to the contest, best wishes!

Great shot of the cactus flower, Mark. Looks like the honeybee is taking advantage of the bountiful harvest. I like that you captured him in the flower which really shows us how large the bloom is. Focus is sharp, composition slightly off center is great and lighting quiet good as well.

This is beautiful Mark , the frilly while petals surrounding the yellow center of the cactus flower is so well captured and I like the way you shot this to focus on the center , we see the bee in flight with pollen sacs full . Perfect shutter speed to freeze that bee .

Strong initial impact: your title telling me that this is a cactus flower immediately had my interest as I love plants and flowers and especially the various cactus flowers.
