You possess a keen eye for nature photography! The framing works beautifully, and the blend of light, shadows, and vibrant colours makes this shot stand out. Fine effort!

This is a cute and nice presentation of this little bird, presented off center. Although I feel the focus is not quite as sharp as it could be.

I never knew there were different types of plovers, I photographed some last summer and they are fun to watch. I believe the ones I saw were ringed neck plovers.
This little one is resting on the beach. Well placed within the frame leaving plenty of space for it to look or move into.
Well focused, this image is clear and you have managed the exposure well. We see the soft texture of its feathers in the white portion as well as the colored portion. The face and beak are well defined.
Well composed allowing a good sense of its surroundings.
Well presented!

I love the beach setting and the nesting Red Capped Plover. What a rare sight. I like the angle and focus. It is good to see its natural home environment and the clarity of the textures of the sandy shore. A slight decrease in brightness can also improve this scene, but overall, this is already a great scene that turn into a masterpiece with slight improvement.

Happy New Year, Mark. Thank you for the notes that accompany this image. I imagine these little ones (due to their size) are difficult to see on the beach. And their color appears to blend into sand.

Your perspective / angle of the shot was low and provided a nice level view of the Plover. The image appears sharp, and you have framed it just right with more room in the frame for the bird to gaze into. Nice.
