What a great post. I think you nailed the composition with the subjects (boats) and also nailed the background with the mountains and sky.

I love the color of the water. The stillness of the water also adds interest. A pleasure to reiew.

This is a lovely capture of these fishing boats, shown on a very tranquil lake. The image is very clear, focus and clarity is spot on. I love the background clouds that look like Mountains.

Thank you, Michele! These are mountains in the back, they are just so bright that they look like clouds:))

perfect for a frame..wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of these boats out in still reflective water with rolling hills in background is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Nice shot of these fishing boats and being at right angles to the boat behind it makes a slight difference as usually boats tend to line up in marinas, curiou though where is it....Brian

Thanks, Brian, it's called Tersana, Crete, if you wan to look it up, it's actually an ancient harbour even though it's tiny.

It's probably the smallest village you can find in the area, you can see Chania from there.

Nice Shot! This is a very interesting scene, whereas the boat in the forefront of the scene is casting such a clear reflection on the water, that the viewer(s) have to really look to differentiate the waterline that separates reflection from object.

Technically this is a very skillfully captured image in a low light setting that allows for nice calming, natural colors to instill a feeling of calmness and relaxation. The image is tack sharp with a deep dof to create a clear, pleasant visual of the entire scene.

A very lovely visual presented here of these boats quietly sitting on the water. Love your composition, shades, tones, and angle that you used to capture this moment in time. Well done.
