Wow, this is an excellent capture of this moose in the wild. It looks like a hot day and this moose is trying to cool off in the pond and get some water. Wonderfully done, thank you for sharing!

cool capture. the angle of the shot of this moose enjoying the water with tall reeds in the background is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Hi Kathy, although I've been to New Hampshire and Maine I have yet to see a moose! I see signs on the highway warning you about moose crossings being there but, so fsr no luck. I envy the great shot you captured of this one. Looks like he just pulled his head out of the water. Love the focus! You even nailed the dripping water. Very cool and fun to view! You have indeed pictured this moose well, and I especially like how well you have captured the running water from her mouth. I also like the fine shine, ripples and reflections in the water.
The moose is standing out sharp and well defined against the golden grasses, and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the animal. The exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and with the moose off to the right it is a very good balance in the composition. It is a truly beautiful and well taken photo Kathy, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

The massive muscle structure sure is evident in this moose.
