Hi Brian, Always have fun taking images of turtles when I see them. Love the way you captured these three! I think I see the edge of another one on the bottom left. These remind me of Painted turtles but the back of their shell is to rough. Very cool shot ! I
Iike the diagonal angle of the shot. Nice lighting and focus show these guys off well. Great entry for the wildlife contest! We seldom see turtles here! Good Luck! :o) Nancy

As you know from my post - I like turtles, they are so interesting to watch as they warm in the sun on rocks and logs. I wish I knew what type this was - they appear to be about the same size as the painted turtles I've photographed. You have sharply captured this trio with nice depth to allow ample detail in each individual. I like the way the two have their necks and head extended to soak up the rays. The patterns and textures on their shells are visually appealing.

It's so hard for me to imagine seeing turtles in the wild , we of course, don't have turtles in Alaska.
These are well captured, it appears that there are 3 , their shell patterns are beautiful.
Well focused, this image is clear . Good use of the light , the colors and tones appear natural.
I like the way the two are holding their heads up.
Well presented!

I love turtles. This is a cool photo, as turtles love to step on each other to get to the sun lol,,, This photo is pretty clear and well focused. These guys dont look very colorful though, not like our Eastern Painted turtles
