Kathy this is a beautiful land scape photo. The blue sky and clouds, the mountains and the forest, the lake and the river, they all come together to celebrate nature. This creates a certain serenity that is very calming and it is evident in this presentation and the best part is I can feel it. Ray

awesome view. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this rich valley surrounded by mountains with partly cloudy sky view is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Strong initial impact: what a wonderful entry for this contest ! This has all of the elements of a beautiful landscape photo op!
I see water and rock in the foreground , the tall pines on left provide nice framing as well as giving good depth to this scene, more pines over on the right and further in at the edge of the lake or pond , the water reflecting the blue sky, the right bank of trees lie in the shadow but are still visible and then we have the mountains across the background . The icing on the cake is the blue sky that is brought to life with the puffy white clouds. It's breathtaking !
This is of course well photographed from the perfect POV. Well focused , clear and exposure is perfect . The colors and tones appear natural . I love that it's autumn .
This scene has such a variety of textures and you have brought them out for us to see.
This is a place that I would like to explore!
