This is such a special image you have taken here, capturing a darling moment between siblings!
Are they not the most graceful beings!?
The color contrast in your scene has the look of an altered black n white where they change just a portrait to color. Not sure what that's called. I know you didn't.
Did you notice the tree root has the appearance of an anaconda? 😮 Thank goodness it is not.
Anyway, this is such a beautiful capture ! The deer are a delight to see in a candid shot!

Thanks so very much for the grand rating and the wonderful review; I LOVE finding and photographing fawns, it’s the one thing I really look forward to in the Spring.these two had seen me since they were only a couple of days old, so they got quite used to me, to the point of ignoring my presence; which is okay, unless you want them to look at you when you are photographing them-lol!

OMG, LeeAnn! This is to cute for words and is a perfect entry for the cute contest! Love these two little fawns grooming each other. Pictures like this are not a dime a dozen and so much fun to see! You did an awesome job capturing them. Both lighting and focus are superb, but the subject matter is off the charts! Good Luck in the "Cutest Animal Contest" Definitely think you have a good chance to win! :o) Nancy

Many thanks Nancy for such a wonderful review and for enjoying it enough to give it an extra star!

There is an ever so slight softness in both focus as well as subject that evokes a feeling of dreaminess to this image. The cuddling (grooming) activity you have timely captured is heartwarming and leads way to a story of sibling security. Your POV offers some scale to the image, as the viewers can approximate the wee size of these twins.

Incredible moment of how you captured the motion of their spots from one to the next
It intertwines them into one! Their heads cuddling one another as though it is difficult for them to understand they are individuals. Sweet moment, well done.

What a precious moment you have captured here with the twin Bambis cuddled together at the base of the white pine tree.
Well captured with nice focus, this image is clear and your exposure is correct, all colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented! You are fortunate for these wonderful photo ops as well as the way you have earned the trust of these beautiful animals.
