An interesting look at a melted snow puddle of reflecting trees. I wouldn't like to be trying to walk outside on a so called ice rink. I may have tried to give more contrast to the trees in the puddle as the colour is quite washed out...but the weather conditions may dictate that.

Thanks very much Chris, I looked out my kitchen window and noticed these reflections in the melting snow that turned my back yard into a pond. I appreciate your support!

Great shot here Pat of reflections in the melting snow. Very clear reflections. Good natural colours with very good exposure. Great focus, texture and clarity. Keep warm lol and thanks for sharing :-)

An interesting shot of reflection in melted snow! You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort!

Nice to hear that you are getting warmer temperatures and get to take pictures little easier.
The reflection, color and all the trees just fit the mood perfectly .
Thank you for sharing Pat!

This is a different one from you and getting reflections from a puddle was a good thing, but maybe its the weather i do wonder if the image could have defined more but think it probarly was the conditions on the day...Brian

What a cool photo.
Literally-smiles ~ You find such great images because you have an eye for beauty and unusual settings. For instance, this! Love it. Simply serene. I am in the deep south and we are getting snow tonight! I am sure there is no bread or milk left at Piggly Wiggly. Hehe Just a little trivia from my world. I will think of you in your warm Alaska weather. :)

You have a photographers eye when you see puddles as a subject lol,, I am the same, I hate warm ups too because it makes the driveways ect so slippery. Now its cold now again for us so the ice thickness is growing on our ice, great for ice fishing

An interesting surreal image. I love the reflection of the trees in the melted snow; the sky in the background has a hint of blue. A very different and creative photograph submitted here.
