What a great entry for this conest. Maliki stands out so well from the background. The strong textures of the tree complement the fine texture of the fur. Great composition also.
This is a strong candidate for the top spot.

Maliki is a beautiful dog. Perfectly placed within the frame just to the left of the huge tree , his pose shows that he is strong and confident, he appears to be looking at someone or something that has caught his attention over on the right.
He is well focused, clear and his white fur is well exposed . I see well defined detail over every part of him.
The tree adds nice texture and makes a perfect background .
I see nice tonal variations in both the black and white.
This is well composed and presented!
