Love your title! This meerkat does indeed look like it's taking a selfish of itself . Lol Love how it looks so bright and alert. Focus and lighting show every hair. The image is fun and a joy to see. A great entry for the bw cimtest.Good luck! :o) Helvi

Meerkats are fun to watch plus to take photos of,this was taken with a long lens with good dof in this,color is i think better with these creatures but this quite good in b/w and of course it suits my contest...Brian

A beautiful black and white full face portrait of the Meerkat the light sparkling in it's eyes. & catching the shine on it's nose. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

it would be funnier if he is hold out the self to take the selfie..very cute capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this meerkat's facial is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

WOW Amazing, great capture as the eyes look deep in the VIEW OF DEPTH PERCEPTION locked on as they always try to know there surrounding but onlt PROTECTING the PACK.
GREAT I WONDER how small his camera is and computer fior IT to get it HERE FABULIOYS I CAT BELIEVE MY EYES meerkat selfies PRICELESS.

What a cute image of this Meerkat standing at attention and seemingly looking at something over your shoulder as you capture this moment. The light hairs in its coat stand out nicely in this b&w presentation and the mixed gray tones in the bokeh are distinct to the gray tones found in the Meerkat - consequently adding nice depth to the image and allowing the Meerkat to stand out very nicely. The image is sharp, well framed and evokes a feeling of curiosity and wonderment as the viewer(s) visually connect with such a fun animal.
