Wow! Ray, this is an incredible artwork. I just love all of the fine details of the center of the flower and the beautiful colors of the petals as the streak outward to the edge of the frame. Lovely indeed, my friend and very well done! Too bad there isn't a contest for you to put this, and it would certainly do very well. Very talented work, thank you so much for sharing. It's brought an immense smile to my face today as I look out on the snow and the cold.

Jewell Thank you for your observation you are correct I used pen for the pistils. I find that using pen and ink like that gives me a distinctive line and a brush could never do that. I am so glad you like it, thank you for you wonderful review. Ray

I love coneflowers and really want to get some and plant them in my yard. Here you show a vivid pink petaled coneflower very close up, I like the way you placed the earth toned center of this flower within the space , placing its center in the lower portion , this type of an arrangement is creative and adds interest .
Your application of the colors are very well applied to show the tonal variations within the petals and center.
Very well created, beautifully presented! These are hardy flowers, I saw them in a garden in late autumn way up north in Fairbanks and they were still happily blooming!
