Lovely sunflower hiding from humans- a bit camera shy! Ha! I have always liked the way they look when this happens and I thought the same thing! That they were being shy!
Your exposure with the black background is very cool too. Makes everything else stand out perfectly. This makes me long for spring and want winter to be over! Great photography!

This is a great shot here of this shy little Sunflower bud. Great vibrant colours and exposure. There is a lot of fine detail in this shot and your filters are good. Great focus, texture and clarity. Well done and good luck in the contest :-)

What a wonderful capture of a sunflower. The composition is very interesting. The flower in the center with three groups of leaves branching out from the center. I like the dark background as it highlights the main subject. Well done I am glad to use my last 6 stars on this image.

This is quite an unusual sot of a sunflower bud beginning to open. The folded yellow petals surrounding the center of the flower are clear and in good focus. The flower head surrounded in the greenery is a beautiful contrast
