Great shot of this chipmonk and should do well in my contest, think although this would be good in color it also suits b/w in this and the the circular detail in its surrounding adds to a good effect...Brian

I am a big fan of black/white images.
This is an excellent one.
I like the framing of the knothole around the chipmunk. The tree also has some coarse structure contrasted with the soft fur.
I think you got the exposure perfect for this shot. It is very sharp. A pleasure to review. Thanks.

My dad loved black and white images, also, as well as chipmunks, so I think he would have been very pleased with this photo; thank you very much for the really nice review and for the extra star!

This shot of the chipmunk is a visual treat! Your framing draws the eye beautifully, and the play of light and shadows, combined with the rich dark and light, makes it truly captivating. Well done! Good Luck!

The conversion to black-and-white of the chipmunk in the hole in the tree Is a nice way to present it. It is a wonderful entry for this contest. The pose with its paws, the way they are, looks as though he is anticipating his next bite of food. So cute.
Great title for this piece.
Clear, focused and balanced. Good luck!

This is a beautiful shot of the chipmunk in the knothole. Focus and clarity are excellent showing great detail in his face and hairy coat. Shown in black and white is further promoting the detail in the photograph. Good luck, this is a great entry in my opinion.
