Oh My! I wholeheartedly admire your superbly created festive celebratory Christmas tree artwork. The brightness of the supremely detailed ornaments is very effective against the stark black background. Your 'Tree of memories' artwork would also make a standout cover art for a Christmas card.

Vernonette, Wow, this is fabulous. Thank you very much for your great review, rating and compliments. I didn't use this piece for a Christmas card this year. I used 'Butterfly Christmas', on that I did just before last Christmas, which is in my portfolio. Another one you may enjoy. Ray

It is not difficult to see who is behind this painting even if I had not seen the signature. This is however a blind contest, so I think you should get rid of it.
What I like the best with this painting is the all black background and the way you have used the white ink. It is fine textures to be seen in the tree and I like the delicate colors you have used on the decoration.
The tree is very detailed and I can see that a lot of work has been used on this creation.
The tall format and the tight framing is working really well, and it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I suppose you have to photograph your work to present it here on FAR. You could just cover the signature with a black marker and then do another photo. It would be a pity if this entry was disqualified.

Susan, thank you for your wonderful review and complements. It is amazing how the box of ornaments grows with every year that passes. My friend's father was very into it and had Bubble lights and I was mesmerized.

You did an amazing job here. I like the colors and crisp fine illustrated ornaments. The use of a muted and simplistic floor area really draws of ones eyes from bottom to top instead of left to right. Just beautiful Ray!

This is a beautiful, full Christmas tree , beautifully decorated with lovely ornaments and an angel on top , I see that the angel is lit and I love the way it sends out rays of light.
I like that this tree is placed against the black background as that really emphasizes it well!

I love Christmas trees and actually just put ours away last week,
This is a beautiful, full Christmas tree , beautifully decorated with lovely ornaments and an angel on top , I see that the angel is lit and I love the way it sends out rays of light.
