Sometimes I think a red cardinal in snow is a bit cliché however I really like this! You have captured so much detail in both the birds and the snowy branch, and complimented the foreground very nicely with the diagonal line and blurred background. Well done.

This is such a lovely entry for this contest. This is a beautiful winter scene .
I like the placement of of this pair of cardinals within the frame and their poses on the snowy branches, the male is up on the left facing forward while the female offers a side view as she faces to the right.
Well focused, this image is clear and your exposure and white balance are correct, the birds colors appear natural and it's wonderful to see the snow in its true white !
