Sharp pei dogs have such a special look, and I think they are quite cute and soft. This softness is so well pictured in this drawing, and I like the straight on approach.
The dog is done paying such a good attention to details and the distinction between light and shadow in an excellent way. Your pencil work is just excellent.
The format and framing is perfect, and so is the centered position of the dog. I like the way you have done the background as well.
I think this is a great looking and well pencil drawing Ekaterina, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Wow, I love this. It has to me (a non artist) an out of the box appearance. The way you have made the entire scene so straight forward is great. I love the sharp details. Prefect in black and white. Bottom line I think it is an excellent piece of art.
