What a wonderful artistic rendition of a highland cow.
Lovely detail shown in the hair and eyes. I (personally) would have preferred to view this without the flowers.

Thankyou! I know right but my coworker ordered it this way. I usually do all of the animals I paint in their natural state. This was a first for me.

This highland cow is really cute with flowers on her head. I think especially the eyes are well done, but I also like the fine textures you have brought out in the fur of the cow. I also like that the pink background is slightly textured.
The cow is done paying a very good attention to details, and with a very good use of high lights. Excellent brush work .
The tall format works well, and the cow has got a fine placement on the canvas. I think this is a sweet and well done painting Phyllis, and I am sure your co worker was pleased with the result.

I like this very much and can certainly understand why your co-worker would love it. It brings back great memories of my trip to the Scottish Highlands a couple years ago. The only suggestion or miner improvement I might have would be a little bit less space at the top. I love the colors you chose. The bright eyes have a vibe of curiosity and maybe "Do you want to be friends" which is really endearing. Well done Phyllis :)
