I've revisited this image multiple times, and I must say, it's truly captivating. The intricate details in each feather, combined with the remarkable definition of the eagle's body and head, really stand out. It has a painterly feel that adds a unique texture to the scene. The dabs of white, reminiscent of cloud remnants, enhance the depth of the sky beautifully.
Additionally, the square frame complements the composition perfectly, giving the eagle ample space to symbolize further flight. Well done!

Great shot here Pat of this beautiful September Juvenile Bald Eagle. Great focus and clarity on subject with good detail of the eye beak and feathers. Great colours and exposure. Would give a six if it were a better background as this background does not look natural. Great stop action capture, thanks for sharing :-)

Wish i could see eagles in flight as you do Pat rather than in zoos over here,apart from the landscapes you seem to have an abundance of things to take photos of i do envy you sometimes and look forward to your photos...Brian

Pat! C'mon! I swear these majestic birds have a convergence and decide to show up above your head, posing for the perfect shot, knowing one day, they will be famous. Or perhaps, The angels had an order from God to guide the winged creatures to stay close by you.

I like how you have freeze the flying motion. Great timing, angle, focus, and lighting. The patterns of the wings are prominent and the blue sky really made your juvenile bald eagle to stand out in the frame. A glorious scene.

An Eagle in flight indeed looks impressive, and you have indeed pictured this one well. The stop action is perfect, and the eagle is standing out from the lovely blue sky in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the square format you have cropped the photo into, and also the placement of the eagle within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.
