Hi Mark, After seeing the look on the lion's face, I'd say he crossed the road because you looked like a tempting morsel for dinner. Lol Glad that, that was not the case! It definitely looks like this lion had a purpose in mind. Great shot of him with great storytelling ability. Great focus and lighting too! Thanks for sharing!

I would be the comedian standing behind the crowd of folks watching this lion and I would holler "HERE KITTY KITTY!"..Imagine the facial expressions on everyone when I do it.wink..lol. the clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this lion is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Mark,
A beautiful picture of the Lion crossing the the path. Framed by the grass in front of him & behind him on either side of the path. The sunlight highlighting his magnificent mane. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Wonderful capture! The facial features are so expressive. I've had the pleasure of working with big cats and they can be intimidating. Nice clarity and focus. The lighting and colors very nice. Overall a great presentation. Thanks for sharing!

Mark, this is an exceptionally well-executed image. The lighting, detail, and sharpness are impeccable, capturing the essence of the lion in a stunning manner. The lion's majestic presence is beautifully highlighted as it prowls with a look of determination, as if it's seeking its next challenge. The way you've managed to capture the intensity in its eyes and the power in its stance is certainly notable. The surrounding environment, subtly lit and in perfect focus, adds to the overall impact, making the lion stand out as the undeniable king of the safari park.

This is such a powerful view, it allows such a sense of what it would be like to be approached by a lion.
Nice stop action capture of this lion as it moves toward me, I like the lifted front foot.
Well focused, this image is clear and your exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. You have brought out well defined detail in his fur, I see he has a grey beard and mustache.
Well composed and presented!

Looking at you, his appetite must have shot up! :):) This is a fine capture of the king of the forest! You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort!
