This is gorgeous! I love the stream in the Everglades and the way the banks are lined with colorful flowers , love the trees there on the right and the way you show the fog in the air,
This is so well created with such amazing attention to the details , awesome show of the light and shadows.

It is a truly beautiful landscape you have pictured here, and the painting has an almost dream like atmosphere. The vibrant flowers are doing this scene more than anything and are giving the painting a great visual impact.
I like the color pallet and the fine textures you have brought out, and also the excellent use of high lights.
The tall format works well and the placement of the rives creates such fine leading lines. The bushes on each side work as a nice framing and it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done pastel Maureen.

I also like how you have lead our eyes to the farthest end with fading shades of yellow blossoms. Excellent choice of contrasting colors .The elements of your composition are well-defined and scene is realistic. The vertical orientation fits well. A tranquil piece.
