Hi Pat.. For me, as Alaskan landscapes go this one says it all and it don't get better than this one.
This scene has all the elements that go into making a definitive landscape of the 49th state.
The color scale is narrow, and the contrast is long scale all the right conditions for fine landscape photography.
I particularly like the placement of the water reflection.

brrrrrr..lol.m nice capture. the angle of the shot of th8s partially frozen pond, mountainous skyline and skyview is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Brrrrrrr a very beautiful but cold place. I love the relections on the water and the clouds covering the mountain tops. Even though this environment does not have a lot a color it is absolutely stunning!

I love seeing nature's reflections in a body of water. There's just something so magical about mountains and gorgeous blue sky mingling together with a body of water!

The details on the landscape and the reflection are nicely presented.
I did not know that there are so many bears in the area; I guess I don't pay too much attention / never saw closer one nearby in the nature .

This is an awesome photo. I has the impression of black and white with a blue sky. The texture of the background mountains is really eye catching. The pond focuses ones eyes to go there as it is so dramatic.
This is a shot one could only get in Alaska, how lucky!
