Hi Nieves, You certainly picked a colorful entry for the green contest! Love how he has a shy look to him, though he's probably just preening his feathers. The photo of this green parrot is a fine entry into a contest like this, and I like the way it is preening its feathers. I also like how well it is standing out from the softened background and the way the branches work as a nice and natural framing.

The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers of the parrot, and the exposure is very good.

I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the placement of the parrot within the frame. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Nieves, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
