This is another amazing work Maureen, this adorable young girl is squatting down to her give her black cat a kiss, there was actually a time when I could squat down just like this lol.
Once again we immediately see your artistic skill , the black cat is so well rendered with such a great show of its fur, its face from the side and its expression as it reaches up to meet the kiss, this cat is brought to life with your creation of its eye, the girl is adorable , I love her outfit and boots, I can see she wears her hair in a playful style, her eyes are closed and she has nice thick eyelashes.
Love the colors and the way you show the lighting here.
Very well created, it's an adorable arrangement, well presented!

I definitely wouldn’t be able to get up early either. I’ve just had a knee replacement surgery so walking is really a struggle right now. Thank you so much for your lovely review!

This is an absolutely darling image done in pastels! You have such a way with them! The only thing I would change is to show the whole body of the woman because it seems to cut off the perspective a bit. At first, it looks like a child in her daddy's boots. Or maybe it's just way I'm looking at it.
Nevertheless, it's really cute and you've done a wonderful job with the details!
I love pulling in closer for just the faces with the kiss! Love the nuance and all Your details! Evokes a lot of emotion.
