Awe, I love collies and have owned them myself , they are truly incredible and very easily trained, Shellie is absolutely gorgeous! She is so well created with excellent attention to every detail her fur is so soft , her face so sweet and she comes to life with your show of her gentle eye.
Very well created . She is perfectly placed within the frame.

Shellie is my first collie in awhile and I forgot how loyal and wonderful they are. From here on I will be a collie person. You can't get a better family dog then a collie, in my opinion lol. But I am just bias I guess. Shepard's, well bred are also wonderful dogs as well. Working in the vet field I have seen both sides to the shepherds. Well bred ones with socialization are excellent pets. Backyard bred are scary, at least in my experience LoL! Your dog is beautiful! or should I say handsome?

You did a fabulous job depicting your Beautiful dog on a Photoshop canvas! It looks very close to a photographer. That's what I thought you Used only enhancing an in Photoshop within I realize that you said you painted the whole thing! Amazing! This type of dog is so beautiful! Reminds me of Lassie! Hope you're feeling better!

I also like the roughs texture of the coat and how the background has some detail in the front next to the collie that fades into the blur in the background that displays a feeling of depth of distance. Reasons for my five star rating.

I found the recent pet art contest Interesting. 7 members were selected for the 1st thru 3rd place...all dogs..all just a portrait of the dogs facial..no creativity or much to backgrounds..just facial..me I guess I did the wrong thing..mine were numerous cats faces in a creative drawing..I should have known better..wink wink..lol..this creation the collie probably would have won. The facial is excellent. The depth is excellent. The details is excellent. The shading is excellent. The blend of the colors is excellent. The presentation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and awesome work overall.
