Beautiful portrait of your puppy dog. Love the kind look in his eye. The colors are real, and the composition is perfect. He does look like he may need to go on a diet. LOL Nicely done.

You did a fabulous job depicting your Beautiful dog on a Photoshop canvas! It looks very close to a photographer. That's what I thought you Used only enhancing an in Photoshop within I realize that you said you painted the whole thing! Amazing! This type of dog is so beautiful! Reminds me of Lassie! Hope you're feeling better!

Very nice portrait. The representation of this collie is impressive. The face looks anatomically correct and has a life like expression. I also like the roughs texture of the coat and how the background has some detail in the front next to the collie that fades into the blur in the background that displays a feeling of depth of distance. Reasons for my five star rating.

I found the recent pet art contest Interesting. 7 members were selected for the 1st thru 3rd place...all dogs..all just a portrait of the dogs facial..no creativity or much to backgrounds..just facial..me I guess I did the wrong thing..mine were numerous cats faces in a creative drawing..I should have known better..wink wink..lol..this creation the collie probably would have won. The facial is excellent. The depth is excellent. The details is excellent. The shading is excellent. The blend of the colors is excellent. The presentation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and awesome work overall.

I thought at first it was a photo but realise it was not one,strong portrait lynn you have created although i would crop a tad of the right in this if it was me,that aside a good portrait of this dog...Brian
