A lovely winter wonderland picture. A very nice contrast between the dark tree trunks and branches with the white snow. Would make a good Christmas card photo. Good luck in the contest

Hi Janice, Though I don't like shoveling snow I do like the lovely scenic views it creates.
Love your snowy mailbox scene! Looks like some snow covered branches came down. This has an old fashioned look that I really like. The faded background gives the impression that snow is still falling. Very nicely done and presented and a lovely entry for the contest!

This is definitely a chilly scene and perfect for the winter painting contest. You are great at watercolor painting! Knowing just where to place the shadows to create the illusion of a snowy landscape isn't as easy as you make it seem!
