It is a truly lovely pink Camellia you have pictured here, and I especially like the color of the background. I also like the fine shadings of the petals and the good use of high lights.

The flower is done paying such a good attention to details, but I think the green leaves need a bit more work. The look a bit "flat" compared to the flower.

The format and tight framing is working well, and the Camellia has got a fine placement. All together a truly lovely and well done digital creation Allan.

Thanks Annie for the nice review. I was not satisfied with the leaves on the bottom for the same reason you stated. I need to go back and give it another look. I always trust your judgement! : ))

This is immediately beautiful Allan , I love the pink tones in this camellia and the way it is placed within the frame with its stem to the left of center.
I also appreciate the leaves and the way they appear to cradle the bloom from the bottom.
The bloom is very well created with nice show of its details
I think the lavender background works well and makes me see that this would be a beautiful greeting card for Mothers Day or a summer birthday.
