your flower shots are as per usual a cut above most other people on here annie maybe its the lighting or down to the topaz effect you use[who knows] but they do have an abundance of detail in them as always....Brian

A beautiful photograph of a pink Dahlia in full bloom. Gorgeous deep pink shown at the center of the flower becoming more pale at the tips of the petals. Very good focus and clarity shown against a greenish background, and is that another flower in the background? A little distracting.

This is exquisite! The dahlia is such a favorite of mine and you have presented it beautifully ! I love the background tones and the hint of the flower to the right behind this stunning dahlia , it has a perfect placement within the frame . You have photographed it with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear and you have brought out every detail. The green leaves there in the right bring a lovely contest to the pink tones .exposure is perfect, colors appear natural.
