This is indeed an unusual postbox, unique even. Being picky though the main problem for me is that it is shot into the light. So, there is significant flare and loss of contrast. Taking it from a different angle may well have been better. Good luck in the competition.

Take it with the sun at your back (a little boring) or with the sun to your side for better contrast and detail. If the sky is blue like it is in the shot I might use a polariser to darken the sky and saturate the postbox.

Two things spring to mind in this one,first thing though it looks interesting for a mailbox,that aside the other things not quite right is because you took this into the sun apart from losing the strenght of the red color,you have sun spots and you have lost any sharpness you would have had in this,i would suggest that if you can take another one don,t shoot into the sun also elimate any other things in the background [just focus on the mailbox] bet you would see the diffence...Brian

IT is Drying Out, North Side needs Power Washing You Know MOSS on a Rolling Stone. I AM 1 at The Shore That Brings The Sunlight Despite My Current situation waiting 4 a new router Clean Phone Line faster Speed? To Cold so After Work A New Paint Job will have My lighthose And Wishing Well back to a red feel as the house is RED BRICK FACEd about 42 years ago so OLD Means OLD Will The Paint Stick But The Sun Takes The Rich Red Color out 1st Season, Time as I try To heal Me B4 other Things i Need to get In Better shape to Do As I button My Story Up , Do You have Mail a OLD word that had some Excited but all part of the story.
Thank You for your Thoughts and Things I May do in the Future but a 3 download speed and 1 upload the US MAIL may Be Faster Than My Internet Connections Or Not. the sky super bright here then trails from Planes Whiteout Even Stronger as I think of a screw on filter to try ? finding the Rebal camera Extras i have not used in Years.

someone Shed Builder in staford twp 30 + years ago but stopped 200 dollars ONLINE but Exact frame but plastic tube tough after he stopped making them, SNOW PLOWS hammer it so I Made a Light Fussier From a Plastic Honey Jar But Light A Parking Marker Light from a Car Ground Shake Last's Longer, Wink a Trade Secret No Just Do With What You Have Handy but IMAGINATION needed with Some Know how.
