Very nice design Maureen. The double spheres of the sun and the portal work very well together. I love the idea of portals because of the idea of moving from one layer to the next and they involve abstraction. You have done a fine job with illustrated illusion. Looks great. Ray

A very eye appealing and creative painting here. The tree on the rocky surface in front of what appears to be the sun; but a second sphere to another realm opens up behind the sun showing another reality. The dark background accentuates the yellow leaved tree and the sun.
