Wonderful shot Len, caught at the exact right moment! I like how the shelf (?) reflects the exact same colours as found in the paler areas of the kitten, and then the black background sets off the whole perfectly. Lovely capture.
On another note, I just saw in your bio that you moved to France; what area are you in? I lived in Poitou Charente for 11 years and just loved it, but have been back in the UK now since 2002 :(

Thank you Charlotte. To answer your question I live in the Ariege just over the border from Andorra and I love it. Lived for a couple years in the Yonne (Northern France) and ... hated it. Haven't been back to the UK for 11 years but planning to take my wife to the Lake District this year.

What an adorable little Ginger Kitten, he does have a very confident expression on his face.
Well photographed with correct camera settings to produce such a clear and well focused image, exposure is perfect, colors and tones appear true and natural. I like the way he is posed inside of the cube.
