A good looking nature and travel image posted here! Yes, you are certainly correct!! Your original image need lifting and the rays and balloon have done that for you. Well created!

This a beautiful moody photograph of a lake in the mountains with a great reflection captured in the lake. This has a medieval feel to it; the dark clouds add to the ambiance. But in my opinion, you should lose the balloon.

Very cool. Live the beams of light. The angle of the.shot of this colorful balloon and light peeking thru.the.clouds is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

It definitely needed all 3 of those things, what a very cool and inspired composition! The balloon definitely adds a nice contrasting pop of color to the otherwise dark, foreboding landscape, and it nicely balances out the scene. Not sure i would want to landing there-lol!

Your mixed media editing is seamless and visually undetectable. I wouldn't have guessed that the high drama this piece exudes is mostly from your fertile imagination - overall very well done.
What caught my eye first was the contrast in lighting. It sets the mood perfectly.
I think your landscape capture by itself without the mixed media edits would have been an impressive post in its own right.
The balloon would have been over the top if you had included its reflection in the water... Bob

Len You have told a fine story with your photo. Don't fly your balloon in a thunderstorm. It is a fine photo with out the balloon. I love the reflections of a late day scene. You do very nice work. Ray
