Very create to say the least. The first thing that caught my attention was the gradation from very sharp on the plant stems and foliage compared to the very muted
feel of the background flowers.
The use of light was very unique having to places for the eye to wonder to discover more about the image. Very worhty of a high rating.

What a beautiful flower to have spread spreading across your lawn! Do you happen to live in Texas? When I was living in the southwest, I really wanted to go see the bluebonnets, but I never got a chance to. I wonder how they would live in Alabama!
You have captured a wonderful shot Of this pretty little flower. I like the fact that you have it off center. They would actually make room to put a quote there if you need a card out of it.

Hi Annie, I so wish there were more blue flowers! I don't count purple as blue but some flowers that are purple are called blue. This is a true blue flower and your capture of it is beautiful! Just like the mixed media work you do these are delicate with a touch of elegance. Love how the soft view of the one in the background adds to the image. I like how you placed the flower in the corner. Your mixed media work is always awesome! Very nicely done and enjoyed! :o) Nancy
